Former Korn Guitarist's Testimony

Monday, February 28, 2005

Brian Welch
This is definately one of the coolest things I have heard about in while. As many of you read earlier in the week, Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch left the band because he had "found God". At the time, Welch said he would further explain his decision later in the week at Valley Bible Fellowship in California. Yesterday, Brian shared with the VBF congregation about the radical change that has happened in his life. VBF has posted a nice page that includes audio of Brian's testimony as well as a new song he has written (which I haven't had a chance to listen to yet). Monday night they will be posting the video from Sunday's sermon. This would also be a great link to send to your friends. Check out the sermon on VBF's site by clicking the picture or going here.

ESPNU, Let The Countdown Begin

Sunday, February 27, 2005

ESPNU
This Friday ESPN will launch a new network geared entirely toward collegiate athletics, ESPNU. For those of you that don't know what this means, just think back to when ESPN2 was launched and what a difference it made. The exclusive programming for the network will provide exposure to even the most obscure college sports (water polo and womens rugby, please stand up). More on this later on in the week.

Bill Clinton Endorses Wife, Pokes Eye

Bill Clinton
Today in Tokyo, Bill Clinton told Japanese reporters that his wife, Hillary, would make an excellent leader for the most powerful country in the world. "If she did run and she was able to win, she'd make a very, very good president," Clinton said Sunday. "I think now she's at least as good as I was." I don't know which is better, saying she would be a good president because she's as good as he was, or the hilarious AP photo of Bill trying to gouge himself. Full article here

Time To Drive To Carolina...

To get some fireworks to celebrate this momentous occasion! They said it couldn't be done. I was scoffed, spat upon, and flicked mightily by utter strangers. And it hurt. That is besides the point. What I am trying to say here is that my OCD has allowed me the patience to stay up half the night to complete (most of) my template for this site. In addition to that, I have also learned how to make pretty link buttons. I made the ESPN one all by my self. People everywhere are proud of this accomplishment.
